The doctrine

The runtime cannot lie. The palette won't either.

Color in ATC is bound to runtime meaning. Decoration is not a reason to use a hue — every loud color on the floor has earned the operator's eye.

Green is truth

Reserved for shipped.

verdict: passed · state: complete · disposition: promote. The palette refuses to celebrate work that hasn't landed.

Amber is attention

Reserved for decisions.

Wayfinding signage. Structured blockers. If a row is amber, it's earned the operator's eye. Otherwise it's noise.

Rose is contradiction

Reserved for the runtime lying.

state: degraded — active without signs of life. verdict: failed. Loud on purpose, because the system is contradicting itself.

The canonical lifecycle

Plan to outcome, end to end.

  1. 01

    Plan

Dispatch turns intent into a Flight Plan: project, lanes, waypoints.

  2. 02

    Work

Agents claim waypoints, leave a trail of events, run on heartbeats.

  3. 03

    Evidence

Tasks complete only with an artifact attached. No artifact, no done.

  4. 04

    Merge

Operators promote a lane against canonical evidence. State machine signs off.

  5. 05

    Outcome

After ship, record what mattered. Truth-telling against shipped work.
